About Us

I have been watching college football since 1997, when I was 6 years old. I attended my first game that season, in Doak Campbell Stadium to see Florida State take on Georgia Tech. From this moment on, I was hooked. This sport brings out the emotion in me, both the good and the bad. This game has made me laugh, cry, and sit motionless with my jaw to the floor. I have experienced the peaks and valleys (or pits) of fandom throughout the years. I wouldn’t trade that passion even if I could.

This blog is dedicated to the fan that has that level of passion. The site will focus on the great stories of the sport of college football. Certain posts will focus on specific players, coaches, teams, or seasons. Most entries will be purposefully weird, just like this game we love. The hope is that they will be fun and compelling stories that enhance your love for the sport.

If you are looking for daily news on a specific school or conference, recruiting information, or playoff predictions, this is not the site for you. We will generally be focusing on the past, although there will be posts throughout the upcoming season when appropriate.

I thank you for reading my stories. This is truly a hobby and passion of mine, and I am glad you are on this journey with me. I am always open to suggestions and constructive criticism. I want you to offer feedback, disagree with me, tell me why I am dead wrong (or right).

Thanks,

Rich
